Villa in Salento

Project: Arch. Sebastiano Canzano
Interior Design: Marco A. Mutinati & S. Canzano

This villa is located in Salento, Santa Cesarea Terme, between olive trees, sun-drenched rocks and native woodlands of pine, overlooking the deep blue of the Adriatic.
The entire work is inspired by the desire of the owners to experience the atmosphere of Salento in a living environment animated by a sophisticated modernity, sober and free of excess.

The architectural project aimed to redevelop the existing villa, very introspective and lacking in character, in order to highlight the opening to the sea front framing it with a valuable pool that follows the curve of the natural level.
In the night area there are two guest bedrooms as well as the large master bedroom facing the mirror on both sides of the sea below. The large living area, in a constant dialogue with the outside world, it has an open kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with fireplace.

The interiors have been designed in the sign of harmony with the place, preferring clean lines and natural tones. The furniture, all specially designed and customized, integrate spaces without overpowering, show in respect for the place the naturalness of light natural wood finishing in natural and the lightness of the white surfaces.

The forms and construction details showing the simultaneous cutting of the entire interior design project and interpret the need to decline the concept of luxury in a minimalist way.
